KORA SOUND Beat License
This is the standard license that applies to every beat sold on KORA SOUND. It explains, in plain language, what you're allowed to do with a beat you license here. Producers set their own prices — the terms below are the same for everyone.
What applies to every license
- You're buying a license, not the beat. You get the right to use the beat in your own music. The producer still owns the beat.
- Royalty-free. You pay once and keep 100% of whatever your finished song earns. No royalties or revenue-sharing, ever.
- Perpetual. This license never expires.
- Full commercial rights. You may release and sell your song, monetize streams (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), upload music videos, play it on radio, and perform it live — with no numeric limits.
- Credit required. You must credit the producer as "Prod. by [artist]" in your releases.
- The producer keeps the beat. Leases are non-exclusive, so the producer may license the same beat to other artists too. (This changes only with the Exclusive tier — see below.)
- What you may NOT do. Resell, give away, or redistribute the beat files themselves as a standalone product; claim you made the beat; or register the beat with a Content-ID / YouTube system in a way that blocks the producer or other buyers.
- Ending. The license ends if its terms are broken, or if the payment is reversed / charged back.
When you buy, you receive your own copy of this license, filled in with your name, the beat title, the purchase date, the tier and the price.
The four license tiers
The rights above stay the same on every paid tier — mainly the files you receive change. Each lease covers one (1) new song.
Use the beat to create one new song, with all the full commercial rights above. The entry tier.
Everything in the MP3 Lease, plus the uncompressed WAV — better for mixing and mastering.
Everything in the WAV Lease, plus the separate instrument tracks — full control to mix and rearrange the beat.
KORA removes the beat from the store so no one else can license it afterward. Use it across unlimited projects (not just one song). Any leases other people bought before your Exclusive purchase stay valid.
Good to know
- Previews are watermarked; your files are clean. The beat you hear on the site carries a light audio tag. The files you download after purchase are untagged.
